Fabio Buttignon
Fabio has been active in providing professional advice to businesses for over 30 years. He is an expert in M&A, private equity, IPOs, business planning, asset and debt restructuring and corporate governance. Fabio has carried out a number of asset and share valuations, as well as opinions to resolve disputes between shareholders and other stakeholders.
He has provided assistance in his areas of expertise to small, medium and large companies. He participates in corporate governance as a (non-executive) director and statutory auditor in listed and unlisted companies, including Benetton, Electrolux Italia, Legor, Stevanato, 3B and Valentino. Among the positions held, he has been a director of Banca IMI, Edizione and Marazzi Group.
Fabio is full professor of Advanced Corporate Finance at the University of Padua. He graduated at Ca’ Foscari University of Venice, where he also previously worked as researcher and associate professor. He has studied and carried out research at the University of California in Los Angeles (UCLA). He is the author of numerous national and international publications on strategy, finance and company valuation. Member of the editorial board of the journal La Valutazione delle Aziende and of the scientific committee of Rivista dei Dottori Commercialisti. He is a Chartered Accountant (CPA) and Auditor.
